Fish Tails 8/11 and 8/12

We decided to head for Fish Tails on Saturday morning instead of Coxes after watching the front pass. Dropped lines in water about 5:00 PM north of Tails over a lot of bait showing up on sounder and trolled south to Tails. Lande 60 lb YFT about after 6 PM jurt north of the drop off and trolled there for another 1 1/2 hrs before setting up to drift. Landed another 60lb YFT and swordfish off East wall and in the deep. Last fished for night spooled Penn 80. All fish caught on live squid. Started trolling again a daybreak and with no hits packed it in about 7:30 and headed home. Drifting in those swells is tough on a weekend warriors stomach. Mahi had lock jaw. Boat is 36 ft Harris, TASHMOO II out of Groton, CT
