west haven blues

fished west haven sandbar friday evening from 7pm till 9pm wind was blowin hard and the seas were kickin.Lots of seaweed in my line but managed the one 5lb blue on a mac chunk.went back out this am for 5 hours and didnt catch anything.guys down a little ways managed a few nice size blues.I hope to get out at least a night or two this week but with this weather i dont know.Hopefully a small window will open up [img:1d50f50995]http://www.ctfishtalk.com/gallery2.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=16211[/img:1d50f50995]

nice! you fishin the sandbar across the street from Captain's Galley? I went out there earlier in the season, around the middle of March, and didn't get anything at all. I've heard good things about that channel, but I never had any luck.
