Fenway Park 06/06
Message:
I had my first opportunity to attend a baseball game at Fenway Park after I won a Red Cross sweepstakes to be the Blood Donor of the Game for a Boston Red Sox game. I got two tickets to see the game between the Baltimore Orioles and the Red Sox on Wednesday. DirtyDawg10 (aka Derek) and I drove out to Boston, and we got to go out onto the field before the game, where I was introduced to the crowd as the Blood Donor of the Game. The weather was perfect, despite the questionable forecast. The Red Sox didn't just provide us with seats; they provided us with terrific seats behind home plate on the first base side. The Red Sox fans whom we met were all pretty awesome, too, even though I wore my Chicago White Sox cap to the game. I had an absolute blast. :D

My son DVRed the game for me. I took a quick look at the broadcast and neither Derek nor I were anywhere to be seen.
