Penfield Reef 6/7
Message:
My dad and I hit the outgoing at Penfield Reef Thursday evening. I was the first to get out there and couldn't believe how flat, wide, and rocky the Reef has gotten! A few others were out there already and were reporting an occasional taylor and what looked like stripers making small rises. 2 lures I threw out there included that 13cm purple ghost Max Rap and a 10cm chrome Flat Rap. My dad tried throwing a topwater and also went slow with a Mambo Minnow. Both of us had not even a hit. Around 7:45pm a thunderstorm was in progress over eastern areas of Bridgeport with a few drizzles on the Reef. Once we saw lightning in the storm we headed in.
