Naugy Smallies
Message:
The Naugatuck River from Torrington all the way to it's convergence with the Housy in the South is simply and without question one of the best Smallie fisheries in CT. I have fished it now for 6 years straight and each year we catch more and more smallmouth bass. Landed 9 tonight with my son in Derby by Pershing Drive. Nothing big, but if you like smallmouth, I recommend it.

I just read the DEP report which is a joke, it reports nothing of the smallmouth action on the Naugy. That's probably why I find the fishing there so good. No one knows about it.
