Lake Gorge

I just got back from Lake Gorge and lucky me i ended up being there during a slump in smb fishing. But it was not a lost cause, i managed to catch four 12" smb. it wasn't great but i had fun anyway. Oh and if anyone else goes up their fishing go to a bait store called FISH307 and ask what to use. I found that the large cabin creek jigs worked the best and the color seemed to be salt and pepper, but senko's worked too. I wish i had a few more days up their because on the last day i found that fishing off the big boat peir at night was hot! I only cought three but i missed at least 15 others. the problem was that they wought hit it just as i would finish twitching it so i had a really hard time setting the hook. All and all it was a fun trip.
