want to get some blues
Message:
Hello Everyone
I would like to go for blues early morning tomorrow and have no idea where
should i try. I have a 16 ft modified V with a 45 hp outboard.I wouldn't mind fishing from the shore either.New to this state i need any advice i could get.NOT looking for anyone's honey hole.
The plan is to get some frozen bait and sand/blood worms and fish the bottom.
Regards
Steve

Blues spot
Message:
This is certainly no honey hole, but I pulled 15 hard fighting blues in 2 hours out of silversands in Milford on Wednesday. I am actually going to go back down today for the falling tide. Not sure if you have ever been there but there is a jetty that leads out to charles island (submerged at high tide) that you can walk out on and cast into the sandbar. When I was there I was throwing a bucktail with an uncle josh's trailer and then switched it up to a home made surface popper. I probably could have thrown anything out there and hooked a bluefish. It would be a great spot for your boat also. I always see boats around the island fishing for I think black sea bass (maybe) and tautog. Hope this helps you or anyone else.
Anyone got any good ways to cook up a bluefish? I have never tried to eat them so I always throw them back, but I think I am going to keep some next time... hopefully today.
