Waters getting warm, My favorite time of year!

Tried the deep weed flats this weekend and got a few takers(actually many) on a CR rig. I love the warm water season for the lunker hunting. Yeah, We still hit the shallows in the early morning, But head deep once the sun starts beating on us. My son won't let me say what lake(too much pressure already) or the full details on the CR rig. But here are a few pic's of the deep weed chunks we caught last Sunday. As the water warms more, The monsters should start hitting the deep weeds. We'll keep you posted!

I recognize that place :wink:. It does indeed fish better in the hot sun. Nice catching!
