...went to cabelas today to look at some more frog options... I ended up buying some Zoom horny toads and 3/0 hooks.... It seems like the hook has a difficult time penetrating the frog even though there is a slit. Cabelas was packed today. I am heading to the Ris shortly and plan to go back up to Bigelow tomorrow... but I think with it being a holiday week its going to be very busy. I spent some time cleaning and organizing my lures, etc etc.. I have a ton of stuff, mostly my fathers stuff and have to organize how I fish. I mainly fish from the shore so no deep diving crankbaits for me! My father had a lot of those for trolling back when we had a boat. I don't even know what to do with half the stuff so I just put it in his old box and store it in my shed. Hopefully I'll catch some fish tonight and at bigelow tomorrow.
