How has bass fishing been for you

I've noticed fishing with the live target frog hasnt been the greatest lately. A friend i go with has been using a brush hog and has been killing it. Any suggestions or answers to why this could be?

I don't know why one works better than the other but I sure would tie on that brush hog and feed the fish what they want to eat!

the water on the surface is really hot. if your not fishing at night or in shade i wouldn't use a frog right now.
