Here's my submission for the seabass record. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of the fish on a scale b/c the water was super choppy and I was getting tossed around like a circus midget. I did manage to get a shot of it next to the tape measure and it went 21" and 4lbs 8oz even on the boga. It was caught on a whole squid out of newport rhode island fishing about 50-60ft of water I believe. We were drifting the rising tide and i was using my fluke rig (shimano calcutta TE w/ Tsuanami 7ft med/heavy action rod) IN all fairness, i'm not sure if you measure a seabass from tip to tip b/c they have kinda a funky tail so the length might be slightly off.

I'll have to convene with the fishing record gods of CTFT... we'll see what we can do. Great catch either way! _________________ Golf Bravo Romeo - Where there's always a crosswind, but nobody will tell you. |
