I know that there's been some decent fish here and there,..but on a whole how would you rate the season so far??
For me it's definitely been sub-par for both quality AND quantity!

Ive had the best start to a season ever and summer just got here Smile

With my biggest catch being only 1 mile down the street at a local pond, it was the perfect start before heavy boating came into play.

Ive been getting out alot. The gas prices are killing me, but thats not going to stop me.

Ive been catching nice fish almost every outting. Ive been dabbing in here and there for prefered fishing techniques in certain places.

Im pretty happy with my season so far. Ive caught alot of fish and concentrated on things i know, mostly.

With the dog days of summer coming Sevnseat your fishing trips doesn't need to slow down. Just go early in the mornings or after work when the sun starts to set. These times are really the best times to fish and you don't burn and turn into lobsterman!

Compared to last year, this year has been 100X better for me. I've already caught more fish over 4 lbs this year (6 or so) than I did all of last year (1) - including two over 5. I had a 19.39 lb 5-fish limit in a tourney at Candlwood. I'll take this year over last year any day of the week!

Seems to be getting better and better for me.

Just keeping tangling with new lakes searching for a jewel mark. Some lakes just flat out fish better then others consistantly- cant blame yourself and since when is a mess of 3-4 pounders a bad year mark!? Cool

Hard to tell the older I get the more I forget. If I were having a good year I probably would remember it right? Seem's to me this year stinks very few LMB and the SMB with a few exceptions seem to be running smaller than in preivious years. Either the fish are getting smarter or I am getting (LETS NOT EVEN GO THERE...OK) cmorjoe
