I've gotta take care of a leak first. Otherwise I'm in if Tom or somebody else can give me a ride.

Alright well a couple guys isn't too bad at all. I'm going to see if I can recruit a few more people. I was hoping like 5-10 boats per tournament with a 20$ by in? Always nice to win a little money and stuff. Open to suggestions and the helping of recruiting anglers

I'll Kayak fish with you all. Not willing to pay 20 bucks though. Life's hard enough with out having to pay to fish. - Duncan

I agree with Duncan...
I would fish with any of ya, and I love the idea of some meetups like those wonderfully organized by Alan.
However, between gas and the proposed 20 dollar fee, I would not be able to participate

I'd have some interest in joining as well. More interested in the outing style as opposed to a tournament with a buy in

I also would be interested in a no money get together!
I believe that you don't even need a permit for that,...so you can actually organize them on the fly! Just put up a post every couple of weeks with a time & location and ask who is "in" ....
If you want to hang around with some food afterward,.. Just make it a pot luck and have a sign up for the food as well!

I'm interested in a get together , post-fish fry maybe a tournament with a 5-10 dollar ticket price , or even better idea an 8 dollar food ticket and 12 dollar tournament ticket and everyone goes out and goes fishing and even non-tourney fishermen could supply their catch and they would earn a food ticket from say 2 or 3 pounds of porgy or other fish. We could do it at a state park like Hamonassett and fish just off the shore where the reefs are within 1/2 mile - 1 mile. Just a thought. I was in a catfish tourney off the James river in Richmond Virginia similar to this. All it would take is 10 - 15 fishermen

Sorry about the delayed response. I keep forgetting to check this site again. Glad to see there is some interest in fishing. I wouldn't mind a get together at all. Not a bad idea. I guess we will wait until the water starts to warm and rally everyone up and head out.

I would be interested in both tournaments or just going out and fishing. New to Kayak fishing this past year but still learning.
