With all the registered users on this site where are all the reports?
The fishing tournaments forum seems to get the majority of activity are the most of people here just freshwater bass fisherman? The saltwater fishing has been pretty awesome this year. I cant believe the posts arent reflecting it!!
Bear season is right around the corner for Maine and archery season is pretty close too but no one is posting to talk about trips and seasons they are getting ready for. These are just a couple of forums that IMO are pretty dead but they pretty much are all this way.
This site is a great way to trade info, report good and bad days on the water and in the woods, ask questions, and see what is going on in different parts of the state.
When CTF made the announcement that it was becoming a pay site and this one was created (which by the way you guys are doing a great job keep it up) for the outdoors people who felt they should not have to pay for trading tips and tactics I had very high hopes for this site. What I am trying to say is....... come on boys and girls lets see reports that reflect the amount of registered users. Are the majority of you just lurkers?

I agree, people are not reporting for lack of participation. Not knowing how many former CTF posters actually came and stayed around here, I think we have to develop the posting culture.

Idea First, make the salt water section more attractive, (move it to the top) salt is the HOT item nowadays, let's face it people are spending more time around the beaches and the charter boats are booked solid, so there's lots of salt activity on the coast.

Idea Encourage people to post information and pictures (not just bragging) and develop a strong technical base on boats, motor repairs, gear and tackle to name a few.

Keep the BS very low and we should pic up as we go along.

Did I mentioned post with pictures?

Lurkers , should be taken out to the woodshed and paddled.
If you are wise enough to click on a page you should be wise enough to make a post.
This website has some great topics and there are only the same 7 -10 people answering.

Hey I take offense to that remark Quint. I stopped doing that ever since I got propositioned in P-Town years ago by the waiter we had at a restaurant one night. Very Happy

Hey now!!! Let's not start spreading rumors here. I got hit on when my wife went to the ladies room Rolling Eyes ....that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Very Happy My wife laughed so hard when I told her what happened that I let her take care of the tip at the end of the night as I quietly snuck out to the car.
