FYI: We tried to fish McD Saturday but it was a wasted trip. MDC had the gate closed and a sign stating the conditions were hazardous. Hazardous Water conditions to be specific. The office gate was opened so I pulled next to it and asked an officer for details. The upper res was near flood stage so they needed to drain water into the lower res. They couldn't drain the lower res as quickly in fear of putting too much water in the already swollen Farmington river.

My son and I had to hit Highland instead. The DEeP officer said that Colebrook was also closed due to high water.
