Hit up Lower Moodus for the first time in 4 years last night from 5:30-8pm. Started slinging frogs over the pads, only had a few blow ups, so I put that down, concentrated on the channel break with a 4-inch worm, nothing but perch or sunfish nibbles there. Finally starting hitting the edge of the pads with a texas-rigged senko and picked up 4 bass in the last 30 minutes, the last one going just under 3lbs. Great night weather-wise out there. Hadn't caught a fish on a senko in a long, long time.
