any suggestions on a affordable place to go stay and bass fish for a few days?
I would like to hit a low traffic lake with large or small mouth fishing within reasonable driving distance from CT/ NY state.

A cabin with a boat with be great....

Thanks!

Rvolkers posted this last year in out of state reports. I may go there, it's a little far for me though

We stayed in a place on black lake NY. It was very reasonable for the two of use which split the boat and the cabin costs. Its a nice lake, and there are many types of fish in that lake to target. I would go back in a heartbeat.

this is where we stayed two years ago. Not a great family spot, but we did not go there for the room. Two guys and a boat to fish from.

I am actually going to try out whisperwoods in Maine Labor Day weekend with the family. At first I was reluctant because of the drive, but I figured it would be a much needed get away
