Went a couple weeks ago when they were having a tournament, like manimal said, water was still pretty cold. I did see a guy catch a nice bass from shore. Seemed pretty suspicous though, he placed the bass in his tackle box and then put his jacket over it to try and hide it... weird.

Thats what i was thinking, but he was fishing with a youth so I dont think it was necessary to go through those measures if he was teaching the kid to fish.

I hope he wasn't setting a bad example of teaching the kid to fish without a license.

Of course he was setting a bad example for the kid. Unfortunately, that's becoming the American way. Confused

The only boating restriction on Lower Bolton is a six horsepower motor limit.

That 6hp an hour is only at specific times and specific dates, if you are night fishing its after sunset til an hour after sunrise. other than that its 40hp. There are also restrictions on sundays.

This information is found in the CT regulations
