We started around 7 with Top-water & only had a few blow-ups....nothing caught even thou it was breezy & overcast....So Jon started throwing a crankbait & i was throwing a spinnerbait...we caught alot of Panfish & only 1 keeper bass each...We then went up the river & didn't get a bite Mad So we tried the pads Very Happy I caught 3 or 4 in the pads. Then Jon tied on a frog & missed what would have been the Lunker for sure....I was standing & could see the fish come out of the pads after his frog & i think when it saw me it took off like a rocket....We tried another spot & Jon caught 1 on a jig & i had 1 on a tube...wait till you see the pics...this thing didn't have Spots it was like half black & half green...Jon will post pics later.... Very Happy

Since it's got marks on both sides of the body,..I'd say it tangled (maybe a while back when it was smaller..) with a big pike!

Ditto what Mark said. One very lucky bass that got away.
