Fished Bantam yesterday in the WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIND!!! When the wind calmed down, I could see tons of Bass sitting on their beds. Saw some 2" offspring floating around also - Looks like they had a good spawning - should prove to be a great Bass year! Managed 1 (2.5lber). I'm sure once the wind and weather settles it should turn on quickly.

I didn't try topwater yet, figured it was too windy = SH$T, should've dug deeper into the summer section of the tackly box!

Wind, no topwater? That's the BEST time to throw it. I love fishing a spook in white-caps, I can't believe how hard the fish will hit it!

We were probably hitting the fish guarding fry yesterday. I think only a single fish looked to be full of eggs. Soon the big females will turn on again and chowing on all sorts of baits! Bring it on!

Congrats again on the topwater. With all this action on topwater I might have to try my hand at some. I've never had luck this early on it, but who knows.
