Had a BAWS outing to Bass Pro Shops in Massachusetts yesterday. The fishing selection blows Cabela's out of the water, however the prices are higher than what's in the catalog, so I don't get that one bit. Still worth a trip, since it's only about 1.5 hours from Hartford.

I think that if you show them the lower price listed elsewhere at BPS,..they will give it to you at that price! Wink

I have noticed that the prices at BPS online seem to climbing too though! Mad

Mark,

You are correct, when I went to BPS just before Christmas I took their catalog with me only because my son highlighted everything he wanted.

They honored the catalog pricing and it still came to $600.00.

i took the ride there on sunday. the tackle selection was great but the selection of rods really sucked. they had tons of BPS and Browning crap but only a few name brand rods. stopped at cabelas on the way home. they have fenwick, g lommis, shimano, dawia, st croix, carrot stix, kistler and a few more.
