Got out to Batterson for a couple of hours this afternoon. Mainly just threw a swimbait and a jig. All the fish were on the jig though! I ended up with 4 fish in about 3 hours. The biggest was this 3.5 lber that I yanked out from under an overhanging willow tree in about 6" of water!

It is just off exit #37 on I-84. It is on the New Britain/Farmington line.
Note: It is a motor restricted lake,..electric only! Also the launch is quite shallow so you will be getting your feet wet!

Good job.. Now your going after all the fish in my backyard..

I guess I'm gonna have to start fishing Rogers..
