the line on most of my jigging poles is going into its 6th season here so I think its time to re-spool at least the best 4 rods I have.

What do you guys use?

I'm mostly after panfish but the occasional Largemouth does appear in the hole.
Talking to a guy at work and he recommended the Ice Line made by Trilene

price is right, what do you guys think?

2lb, 4 lb?

I've used the Trilene and South Bend Polaris. Either lb.test will work or split the difference and get 3lb test. I find the knot fails more often then the line or at least it did till I started using a Palomar knot.

4lb test leader
tied to a small barrel swivel
2lb main line

Ive never had a problem with any low test lines no matter the brand

some times we make fishng more technical then it needs to be Razz

Ive caught bass perch white and yellow lmb and crappie with braid throught the ice
though i dont suggest it, ice loves to stick to the braid.

You want some thing strong, sensitive, and one that stays as limp for as long as possible.
None of this spooling curly line
lol
