				| Went to Black Pond today in Meriden just for an hour. Took my 6 and 11 year old cousins out for their first time fishing. I caught a 12" Largemouth about 20 minutes in off a 4 3/8" Gold Rapala Floating Minnow. Shortly after my cousin caught her first fish. It was tough to tell whether it was a Calico Bass or a Large and discolored Sunfish. She caught it off a 2 3/4" Silver Rapala Floating Minnow. Overall a good day on the water at Black Pond. I love this place for myself and for taking kids. Everyone should definitely give this place a try. | |

				| Your cousin probably got a calico. I've never caught any bluegills and other sunnies that look like crappie. | |

				| Yes I figured it was a Calico but it was definitely a different looking one. | |
