Does anyone know... is there any general law stating that one cannot launch a trailered boat at a location that is not an official “boat launch”? I’m thinking of a particular lake that I fish/kayak at often. There’s a gradually sloped rocky/gravel area that leads right down to the water. I launch my kayak and row boat here, but I could just as easily back my little trailer down to the water. If this isn’t illegal it would be pretty awesome, as the state run boat launch on the lake is closed until opening day (the lake has no closed season, though).
