The causeway by squantz is excellent for Smallies this time of year! If nothing there, try going out from the New Fairfield town park and hang a left by the small island. Go down the left side and fish it. Good for both kinds of bass.

The Fairfield boat launch cove, Hollywile cove, or around the sandbar are good spots and should get you good fish. I fished it today didn't really try got a few largemouth and perch, today was a free dive day not really fishing.

Headed there tomorrow for the first time, kids in tow. Hoping that it won't be too packed on a weekday and we can do a bit of fishing, some swimming, and grill out. Probably middle of the day, so any decent fish would be a bonus.
