Seeing there's a number of other fish people catch here in CT that aren't considered game but still get to be of size, how many think the state should start keeping records of those fish?

2 certain fish I could see becoming part of the records book are white suckers and sea robins.

Any other catchable fish of size that should become a record?

I suppose records and listing of sea robins would bring limits such as size ,quantity and perhaps seasonal reg's. That might stop people from stuffing them in the rocks on jetties because they want them to die so they don't catch therm again.

That might help might rid of some of the rats... and the smell.

I see a new IGFA record was broken last year for the sea robin caught in the Northeast, called the striped sea robin. But no state record in the CT Angler's Guide.

BTW- That new record is a MONSTER!!!!
