Hit it with ME fisherman today from his boat- quickly found fishing hitting superflukes rigged wieghtless (a walk the dog style bait would of worked great im sure)
But they were all pickerel.
Fished around some pads and then I decided lemme pick up the tube. 2nd cast and I boat a 2 lber. WTF shes spawned out?
Bed fishing and powerfishing the rest of the day- lots of eager biting males but the females were trickier- saw 4-5 fish over 4pounds but they wouldnt touch a thing, must of been just waiting to spawn. Caught a few good fish on super flukes through out the day power fishing them over weed beds that were really coming in nicely. Ryan got a few trout on the dropshot as well.
Baits= Dropshot, tubes, grub on a bed, superfluke
Temps=65-66 all day
