Whats goin on CT Fish Talkers?

Managed to blow off work, and called BassGetHooked.
We met up in RockyHill at 4:00, and headed to my fav flats.

We managed to scrape up a few Stripers, until a front pushed thru, switched plan, and went after smallies, BGH smacked a nice pike,

Despite the hurricane force winds, and a trolling battery that didn't hold up very long, we had a good afternoon, with a few decent sized stripers, nothin over 10 pounds, but the rod was bent, and the drag was whizzin. I'll take that any Tuesday afternoon!!

Weekend is comin, not sure what to do next, as Im sure the river is gonna be a parking lot with word of stripers showin up.. it will be on the water tho!.

Hey Schmoe-

Thanks for giving me a call and getting me out on the river. I had a blast; for only a couple hours on the water I'd say you and I had a damned good day. That pike was unexpected and though it took me a few tries to boat one of those stripers the fight alone was well worth my time.

Your spots were on- we'll have to get back to them soon and hammer a few more.

That's a nice day. Pike are always a nice bonus.
