Friday night Cosmith was nice enough to take me to Tamarack Lake in Millbrook, NY. It is one of the nicer spots i have seen in a long time....

The water was like glass, and i was expecting to have a crazy evening of fishing... to make this short, We went right after a pretty intense thunderstorm which produced hail earlier that day... Needless to say it seemed like the fish were spooked and were not hitting anything... Anyone else have that experience after a storm?

Cory was able to get one in after about 3 hours on the water... Nice job Cory, and hope to get out there with you again soon...

Here are some photos of our little excursion... Very Happy

Looks like a great place. To bad the fishing didn't pick up.

sounds typical to me. I don't even bother fishing after t-storms, particularly ones w/ heavy precipitation and winds. It just churns up the waters, cuts down visibility and puts the fish into limp mode so to speak
