Plan on launching out of BARTS on Saturday, Has anyone been on the river the last couple days, with the rain we got has it gone up much?

Also water clarity, so far when I have made it to the river its murky, cant see more than a foot down.

I look at the usgs river charts, and there is no data available.

I've also been considering a launch from Bart's, this coming Sunday. I'm just a little gun-shy after our disappointing day last Sunday in Rocky Hill. It sucks knowing that fish are there but the river is so fast and dirty that fishing it is much harder, and that we don't have the boat power to bounce from place to place with ease. I haven't made a decision on where we'll be yet, but I'm still hell bent on stripers.

Are you referring to rainbow damn? I just got three inches of rain in the area, sure that's going to leave the river a mess tomorrow

Yes. I was referring to conditions on the Farmington. Dam is open now, but water conditions are still good. I am still able to fish with chest waders , so not high and not too murky.

Went to Bart's boat launch and I failed miserably. I did meet a few new folks which was a blast. Caught some alewives with willow leaves that a gentleman was selling.
