Not much of a report. All the big fish I had I lost.
But anyways, I launched my kayak out of Portland at portland boat works around 5:00 PM and fished till about 8:00.

I was planning on going into Wrights Cove. I was throwing a spinnerbait around the entrance of the cove when I hooked into a decent pike about 30 inches. I was trying to get my camera ready while I was fighting the fish and lost him on the side of the kayak. Rolling Eyes

I then went into the cover and hooked into something on the same spinner bait that was managing to take me for a little ride. I didn't get to see the fish but had to be a good sized pike.

After that, I hooked another big fish on a zoom frog. The fish bit through the braid and I lost that one too, although from what I could see. It looked like a bass.

I was able to keep a good sized pickerel on the line and a couple of smaller bass.
