Below is the link to information from the DEP website in regards to getting a credit for last years fishing licenses.

http://www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view.asp?a=2696&Q=466250&depNav_GID=1511

I will be heading to the DEP office this week.

$18 credit towards 2011 licenses for me.

Hey, RobO, could you pick up a 2011 license now or would you have to wait until the new year?

Thanks, dave_376, I was just being lazy. I saw on the DEP's website that they're already selling 2011 licenses online. I called the Western District Headquarters in Harwinton and it confirmed that I could pick up my 2011 license today.

I beleive they started selling the 2011 licenses on December 1st.

All you guys who go ice fishing, don't forget to get your new license before you go out this weekend.

I had to get out of the house for a while, so I made the short drive up to Harwinton. For those who intend to drive out there to get their credit, the DEP's Western District Headquarters is open for license processing until only 3:30 PM, not 4:00 PM as posted on its web page.
