Hey all,

I have never "drop shot" fished before and I want to learn more on how to do so. I was reading some stuff online on tying a certain type of knot a couple feet up. Does anyone have a diagram of what type of knot to use? I obviously know about the weight and the bait I guess. I saw some guy tie the knot and I got cross eyed for a second because its hard to see fishing line on a video...

It's just a palomar knot with a long tag end for the weight. Here's a link that might help.

Sweet thanks. I tie palomar knots all all the time for my hooks. I just wasnt sure how to tie one in the middle of the line.
