Went to the farmington river last night near the boat house for the schools. i got a lmb on tube fishing against the current ten ft from shore. my buddy was going to eels on the bottom. the only thing he got were a few small fish that he called daisy's on the bottom. i was wondering if anyone knew what they might be because i can't find that fish on the interwebs anywhere. they were about 8 to 12in long. any help?

can you describe the fish a little better? Im sure someone will be able to identify it but you need to shed some light as to what it looked like

It was a stupid sucker fish, you should spit in their mouths and smash them on a rock. They are THE most annoying fish in the world when you are fishing a river for trout or bass. Destroy them.
