Today I ran into the biggest feeding frenzy in a while. Stripers crashing the surface everywhere chasing Alewife. Perfect conditions for topwater!!!! It paid off with 3 keepers, the largest at 34" and smallest at 28".

I may have to get out there this weekend. Hopefully the weather holds up, I have a couple friends who want to try that stretch out.

Yeah, the Striper are up that far. As long as there are Alewife, the Striper will follow, it doesn't matter. Went to the same spot today and caught 2 more keepers. Both days noon til about 1:30, then the fish stopped hitting. I have to figure out how to post pics. Most people won't believe the size of these fish.

Thanks for the heads up. Guess I'll head down by Loomis since I don't think we will be getting rain this weekend.
