Anyone fish this section of the Farmington at the end of Tunxis Ave?
I drove by there yesterday and did notice trails at the end of the street past the gates. I live in Windsor without a boat so I usually fish the Farmington around Bart's boat launch. Looking for a good spot for trout and bass in the Windsor area. I know Salmon Brook in Granby is pretty good for trout, I just havent made it up there yet.

I've never fished that particular section of the Farmington, although I've fished both above and below it. The Tariffville Gorge is rougher water than I'd like to paddle. I've never caught a trout in that area, but throw only lures that I think bass would hit. I know that DV (aka Derek) has gone down the Tariffville Gorge in his canoe before. He said that he caught little smallies down there.
