This is by far the most amazing fish I have ever hooked in my life. I have never had anything make a run so fast hard and long all at the same time.

Caught it about 4 in the afternoon on monday oct 12th out near race rock on a zoom super fluke....is there anything those cant catch? Laughing [/img]

Nice catch Top, They really are amazing fish and the color when you first see them is beautiful. Now just look at the way that fish fights and looks and add about 400 or 500 #, that is a Giant Bluefin Tuna !! Just think what that would fight like. Very Happy

well done top, I love catching FA and Bonito - they fight like crazy.

Mud, I hope I get to experience a GBT sometime in my life. It is a dream of mine.

Awesome job, man. I got my first off of Montauk a few years ago on a fly and was absolutely amazed at how fast those torpedos can strip line. Once you get them in and feel how dense and muscular they are it's easy to see how they can take you down to the backing and rip the whole line off in less than 20 seconds.

I have seen them breaking their tales while going mental on deck.
