| I went out of old saybrook under the 95 bridge this week. I wasn't going to mention this but it really burns me; just wanted to know what some of you regular salt-water fishermen think. At the bottom of the ramp amid about a dozen seagulls was the remains of a rather large Striped bass. the fillets were gone and all that was left was the head to the tail. This doesn't seem right to me; if I am wrong someone tell me so. thanks cmorjoe |

| i dont think anything is illegal about that, charters do it all the time. it wasnt the best spot to toss the carcus but as long as the fish was legal i dont think anything was done illegally just poor judgement by some lazy guy who didnt want to cart it away from the ramp to dispose of elsewhere |

often Quint and I use our carcases as chum.Nothing like running that junk through a big grinder and tossing it in the freezer.Nothing goes to waste and thats the way it should be.
If legal carcases are dumped in the water thats fine just as long as it is not dumped directly on the ramp.
