Does anyone have any good areas to fish off the beaches of Block Island? Any specific beach and bait to use? We'll be surf casting July 19-21. Any help is appreciated.

Mike

What are you targeting? The channel into new harbor is a popular spot for small bass and blues and an occasional fluke. Any of the ocean beaches can produce bass and blues or if you wnt to bottom fish you can catch scup and sea bass.

We would love to get into some schoolie bass or blues. I guess using slugo's in an eel pattern has been producing in new harbor from what I've been told.
