Anyone know of anywhere that is ice free up in the Brooklyn, CT area? I am going to be up there this weekend and with the warmer weather wanted to throw some lures around.

I would pretty much be fishing from shore, as I am not ready to put the kayak in the water yet.

There's still more than 15 inches of ice and frozen slush on every pond and lake I've fished in the past week. Open water's still a long way off. I feel your pain.
