Hmmmm not liking the coating on this line. First knot - double uni to mono backing - the coating peeled off when I tightened the knot.

Yah I havent tried it out yet from what I read its supposed to be there to improve the casting so im assuming its going to peel off for the first 10 ft. Let me know how it is castng I still havent had a chance to put it on a reel

Got the 20lb and spooled it on one of my baitcasters, but I gave the fish a break after the cold front hit. I'll probably test it out this weekend.

Heres what I got so far. I went out to try my new reel (Revo SX) and had no line so of course spooled the TUF line on it. Likes: It casts very nicely, I like the mono coating it keeps the color from fading like power pro. I had good knot strength with it. Dislikes: It has pretty high memory even for just a mono coating. The coating comes off am little easily but not too bad, it never came off during a retrieve through anything just with me tying knots or screwing with it.
I will post again when I get a real test on it. I want to catch a few bigger fish and really throw it into some heavy heavy cover before I make a decision but so far so good
