| I would like to try Fresh water but don't have time to drive up state. I know of some lakes and ponds around here but don't know if they are fishable. any insight would be helpful! |

Mianus River but access is the issue there.
Rippowam River is good for trout but you will have to wait till opening day. |

| Where along the Rippowam river? and yeah i've been to Mianus with no luck, not really sure if i was even in a decent fishing spot or not. |
