Hey Guys, Paul ( PRO12 ) and are planning on heading out of Branford on Sunday to do some tautog fishing on our kayaks. If any of you are interested in joining us you are more than welcome. Reply to this post or PM either PRO12 or Me and ill give you my cell number so that we can coordinate the meet. We will be trying to launch from oweneego beach and tennis club as this will be the closest launch to the reefs we will be targeting. Below are pictures of the proposed launch sites and the travel plans for each launch. We may decide to head to a reef further out if the weather is cooperative but so far the weather looks good. Im sure we will have alot of fun and I hope to get a chance to meet you guys soon. Tight lines everyone, and stay safe !!

We will be launching from plan B , Parker Memorial Park and i will probably be at the launch by 6:45 because it takes me about 20 minutes to get my kayak off my truck and ready to launch. The paddle will be about 2 miles to the spot i fish on negros head reef. so be prepared for some exercise haha. Paul ( PRO12) will be bringing green crabs for tautog as will I and I will be be bringing clams and squid and maybe try to catch some bunker for bluefish if the wind picks up and we wanna fish the branford river. If you want to meet us there at 7:00 we will probably still be on land . PM me if you want my cell number

I'd love to go, but I just got my yak and don't have it completely outfitted. If my anchor trolley system comes today or early tomorrow I am in.

Hey Tom if the only thing stopping you is the trolley you could probably tie off to the back or front of my kayak and we could anchor up that way. The weather is looking more and more promising the closer we get and i got this feeling in my gut that we will have a blast on Sunday haha

Im sure this isn't yall's first Rodeo but I want to make sure everyone has a safe enjoyable time on the water. Cant wait to go fishing on Sunday and meet some of you. also here is the address for the launch site :
Parker Memorial Park

Best of luck everybody, and bring plenty of crabs because the fish are biting. Unfortunately for me most of them were under the 16 inch size limit on my trip yesterday to my local Milford rockpiles. But I did manage a nice 23 inch one, along with a smaller keeper and a 15 inch sea bass.
Sundays are bad for me, or I'd be tempted to join you. Have fun, and I look forward to your fishing report.
