Hello! I've been so busy with the new job that I haven't had time to post. Things are going well here, both the new job and the new house. I have been fishing a few times on a small (13000)! acre lake called Lake Wateree. Nice lake, but the bass are hard to figure out. There are NO weeds, and the bottom is mostly MUD. The catfish are easy! They are everywhere and you can catch em on just about anything. Jig, crank, spinnerbait, senko..I did manage a nice 5lber on a sweet beaver in 25ft.
I do miss the CT bass fishing. Do you think 1676 round trip miles is too far to fish the Mansfiled T this weekend? Very Happy If I leave now...Hmmm tempting. Good fishing to all back in CT!

I've been waiting for this report! Nice job buddy!
Glad to see all is well in S.C. Hope to see more reports as you progress with your knowledge of the lake. Before you know it you will be hitting the tourneys down there.
