I was actually thinking of chunking him! It was too big most likely for most of the holdovers.

Yeah. Too big for the stuff up there now, but before too long...... I used them a lot in VA for livebait for the landlocked stripers. Hoping it's not too much longer. I've heard fish are showing in NJ.

Finally got 2 tonight and probably could have gotten more but man did it get cold out! Tip was freezing up about every 3 casts near the end at dead low so called it a night but Im betting once the water started moving again I would have kicked out at least 1 more. The 1st catch was like 2nd cast and it being around 32" and the other was about 20 minutes later being about 26". Was getting a lot of bites tonight but they were pretty smart and hitting fast and dropping before you could even set the hook most of the time. Pics didnt come out very well but Ill post what I got tomorrow. Crest Daddy got a few also tonight and he got a few last night but I got the skunk last night. Felt good to have a few solid tugs and bring them in for once! Could have been the quick temp drop tonight that shut them off also.

You and CD are putting us to shame. I spent the weekend tinkering with the boat and am probably headed to RISSA upcoming (though the forecast is looking good for the weekend).

Yeah, I may have to blow off the show for some more fishing! LOL. The pics I thought I took of the bigger of the 2 fish were shitty to say the least. Its a new phone and when I thought I was taking a pic I was actually manually focusing in the dark meaning I couldnt see anything and when I held the frame square the light would come on and I thought it was the flash but it was just lighting up to help center the photo! Embarassed Here is a pic of the 25" or there abouts, no tape measure on us. Sorry about the quality!

Nice, Wade! It's beginning to look like the Spring runs might be just starting. Yesterday, I snagged up a fat 11 inch white perch in the cove at Two Mile Island out of a solid mass of fish that appeared on my finder. I'm pretty sure that it was an anadromous spawner, because the horny bugger milted on my hand.
