Hi!

Well met my fishing buddy Rob on the Housy at 9:30 AM.
We where fishing for Pike with golden shiners.
Rob caught a nice Smallie and an estimated 4 lb. LMB.
Thought I was going to get skunked.
Around 12:30 I moved my bobber just a few inches and then WHAM Exclamation
Hooked and landed a 38 inch Pike.
Great fight -> Had to really tighten up the drag on this Big Boy -> Made 5 long hard runs on me.
Rob took some pictures on his camera phone and will e-mail them to me.
I'll post them as soon as I get them!

I have been trying to find a place to get golden shiners as I too have been targeting pike lately. Did you catch/net them or did you buy them? Mind telling me where either way?
I don't mind paying for them, but I have sein nets and can net them from a stream. I would also spend the time to catch them in a pond if I knew of a place where they are preasent in good numbers.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
By the way - nice to see another pike hunter here!
