Didn't know where to post this, so I finally settled on this category.

I can only give vague information for now.

We're holding a Fish-In sometime in the next couple weeks.
It's gonna be a pot-luck kind of get together, everyone brings something to eat.
Strictly No-Kill Catch and Release if you join us. If you wanna keep carp, do it on your own time.
I'll be there myself as well as a few of my carp fishing buddies including CarpFisihin860 (Mike), the guys from CT Outfitters, and a few other seasoned veteran carp fishermen. We'll give ya tips, tricks, answer any questions we can, etc. The area we fish will be prebaited with flavored maize.
Like i said, im keepin it vague to keep out lurkers, or people who are lookin to attend for harvesting pusposes, so I wanna know who's gonna join.

If you are interested in joining us, I can give you more information via PM. Date, time, location, etc. It'll be a great time, and the spot we're fishing carries 30+ pounders, so ya may have a good chance at stickin one. Hope to hear from ya.

I probably missed the event but I still have some questions that you folks may be able to answer. I want to give carp fishing a try but there is so many baits and rigs that are listed on the internet. I live in central CT. I was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers.
