Well its that time of year again, time to winterize the boat, hang up the poles, and drag out that ice gear! ! !

So is any one else hitting the hard water this weekend?

Heading northwest, wood creek has 4inches but its not my favorite fishery.


Any word of other ponds up there? Dog?

Heading NW as well early Saturday mourning

as far as ice conditions, I live far from........... everything so I have no accurate info at all, just going on how cold its been up there for a while

If anyone has any input as far as ice it would be appreciated, maybe make a sticky in this forum to keep track of the early ice...............

Roar back pond in harwinton has 4inches- headeed there now.

The first arm of woodcreek has 4inches

I have never been ice fishing. What type of bait do you use?

maybe sunday woodstock area only has 2-3 but if the weather stays like this will be there sunday.

Dog pond is safe 4-5' of ice.People are fishing south bay of bantam 3-4'".
