6 am -til 2 pm food til 3 pm
$ 25.00 entry
candle wood lake new fairfield town beach
must register by feb 1st
6 deer 8 hams steamers steaks ect al free with ticket
heaviest bass perch and trout
great time
ice looks great
25 th year
lines start forming at 3.30 am for check in so dont be late
maybe the biggest in ct

Two and a half hours to check in 200-350 people? Who have already registered? Do they make you take your shoes off, do a full body scan, maybe pee in a cup? I've never heard of a tourney that forces the staff, let alone the fisherman to show up that early. Not like you get a better spot on the lake. Also, where do that many people park anywhere around Candlewood?

| we have at least 100 + entries but most everybody waits til friday last day to register and again show up when you want its just the lines start forming very early .pay outs have been very large in the past so people take it serious and others dont but always is known for great food ,great time good people and very well organized ,but as always with that many people there will be someone who thinks it should be done different thanks hope to see there |

Sooo is the pig and jig still going on i know there was like 5 in of black hard ice but with the past couple days of warm rain fog and wind whats it like now

| The Jig 'n Pig derby has been postponed until next saturday 2/9 - I called them earlier and the recent warm days and rain caused the cancellation for this saturday. |
